Here I will tell you about 3dsmax 3d model skates studio tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
FFD Box modifier & How to work soft selection.
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl+N) now you will see the new window is open
Now click on the Plane and use the following setting set the plane like this in the
Perspective view

[2]-Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > box use the following setting
Create a box in the top view and set like this

[3]-Now apply the FFD Box modifier with 5×5x5 these number of point

[4]-Now select the control point and select the both corner (edges point) set like this image as shown below point drag like this

[7]-Apply the Mesh Smooth Modifier your object should be like this

[8]-Create a cylinder in the top view and set like this right click selects the Editable poly then select the polygon
In the Editable poly

[9]-Now make a selection like this open soft selection window pick the select & Move tool and drag like this
Same treatment for second face

[10]-select the cylinder press holds (Shift key) drag it and release you will see clone window is open
Use the following setting now set like this in the top view

[11]-Press (M) and you will see the material window is open
First of all click on the diffuse button then select the checker open the checker parameter
Use the following setting your checker map should like this
In the second material import a brick map then open the tiling option and use the following setting
Your bricks map should like this
