3D model chessboard.

Here i will teach you about the 3-d model chessboard.

[1] firstly, go to the create> panel>shapes>lines, pick the line tool.

[2]Design the figure in front view port as shown in the picture.

[3]After that go to the modifier channel and pick lathe modifier, click on the blinked bulb
as shown in the figure, then click on axis and drag it will get the shape of a chess pawn.

[4]In the top view port, select a chess pawn, press shift and drag, you will get the copy of chess pawn as shown in picture. Now you want more copies, simply write down the numbers and click ok.

[5]Assign the chess pawn in top view port.

[6]Go to the geometry>AEC extended>wall. In top view port drag a wall outside the chess pawn.

[7]Now, go to the geometry>standard primitive>plane, create plane and adjust the chess pawn.

[8]The most important thing is to apply the materials on the objects, select the plane, press
M
u will see a table in which many sphere is highlighted, select one sphere switch a square will get the default map, select the checkers map double click on it and u will see map is applied. After that, open the coordinates button adjust the tiling
U: 5.5
V: 3.9
Now apply the material on the plane this tool.

[9]Now select the 4 pawn press M, take the black color adjust the specular level: 67, glosiness: 35, you get the material as shown in the picture and apply.

[10]Select the other 4 pawn press M, take the white color adjust the specular level: 42, glosiness: 45, you get the material as shown in the picture and apply.

[11] similarly, Select the wall take the white color, click on maps column, select BUMP:50,open maps select splat and apply.

[12]In the end go to light>omni and drag it to the top view port and right click disable the affect diffuse and adjust the light as shown i the picture.
