[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels, 500 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[11] Cntl+Click the circle layer to make a selection after that create a shape like shown image below.
[12] Then go to Select>Modify>Feather use these values.
[13] Now create a new layer, Now fill that layer with white color.
[14] Take the Soft Brush use these settings.
[15] Make a new layer and set the foreground color is white, Brush the lower right hand corner in a rough crescent shape like me.
